Public Notice - No Leaf Rake Out Into Public Right of Ways

The City of Gladstone does not authorize the raking of leaves into the street or other public right of ways. 

Leaves are to be disposed of at the City of Gladstone Compost Site
located on 29th Street passed Cameron Elementary School.
Compost site is open everyday - no permit required for city residents

Violators could be cited and incur a fine.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Parks & Recreation Department  Portion of Boardwalk Closure for Safety Reasons

Gladstone Boardwalk

Today, Friday, July 19, 2019 The City of Gladstone closed the wooden portion of the Gladstone Boardwalk, which is located by Saunders Point until further notice.  The reason for the closure is the high waters of Little Bay de Noc has created a safety hazard from the algae; which is creating a slip and fall situations.  Any questions you may contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 906-399-8637.
